Datong · Northern Wei Culture Park
In this project, we partnered with excellent local Shanxi companies to participate in the construction of the Datong Northern Wei Culture Park. Our main responsibilities included the detailed design, production, and onsite installation of the interior corridor metal ceilings and cultural-themed metal decorative panels.
01 Project Scene: Metal Ceiling System in a Complex Structure
The internal corridor area of the Northern Wei Culture Park features large spans and dense MEP pipelines, which impose higher requirements on the layout and nodes of the metal ceiling system.
The Aluminum Hero team, based on multiple onsite reviews, re-optimized the load-bearing relationships of the keel system and aluminum panels at curved surfaces to ensure:
- The gaps between large-area flat aluminum panels are within the ideal range
- The arc structure's curvature is uniform and transitions smoothly
- Efficient onsite installation with reduced rework rate
The blue-green fluorocarbon aluminum panels, under lighting, create a continuous spatial rhythm, providing a stable and clean background for subsequent cultural displays.
02 Northern Wei Cultural Themed Metal Carving Panels
In line with Northern Wei aesthetics, we completed:
- Northern Wei font backlit metal panels
- Traditional pattern dot matrix hollow panels
- Mythical beast phoenix-themed metal carving panels
Through CNC hole punching, laser engraving, and integration with backlighting systems, traditional cultural symbols are re-presented using modern architectural language, preserving historical depth while providing a modern spatial experience.
03 From Factory to Site, Full Chain Implementation
From detailed design and modeling layout to factory processing and finished product inspection, and then to onsite ceiling installation and cultural panel positioning, we continuously dispatched teams to collaborate with the general contractor and local construction teams to ensure each aluminum panel is precisely placed and the overall effect meets exhibition standards.
The Northern Wei Culture Park is an important cultural revival project. We are honored to participate with our "Aluminum Hero" metal construction capabilities, allowing traditional culture to flourish anew within a modern architectural context.
